It's a Barbie doll
This is my daughter's first Barbie doll which she received today as a birthday present. She had never heard of Barbie before now but seems quite taken with her. My husband and I commented on how extraordinarily long her legs are for the rest of her. Her hair seemed really curly in the box, but it's just the two chunks in front, the back of her hair is straight and frizzy. Her swim top barely covers her boobs and my daughter keeps pointing that out. This wouldn't have been my first choice in Barbie dolls to give to my daughter (specifically being her first Barbie) but she likes it. So much so, she took it to bed with her.

Don't buy the Beach Party line if you care about the Barbie SHOES
I would give this doll a negative ZERO if I could. Not only are the feet wrong, they are hidden in the package under a brush. If a consumer thought to check the feet on a Barbie...they couldn't be seen.
This is a fine Barbie if you never intend to use barbie shoes on her.
The feet are giant, flat and wide. The Beach Party line all seem to be this way.
I even tried to use the giant flat barbie sneakers...the hole in the top is too small for this dolls feet to get in. ....I haven't tried Ken shoes yet.

Poor Quality
I bought this Barbie for my daughter and was shocked at the poor quality of the doll. When I took it out of the packaging I noticed a wet spot where the head was. The hair was slimy and when I parted it I noticed that that part of the head was white, not skin-colored. After I was done examining the odd spot, I noticed her hair had shed all over me.

Aside from the hair there were also wardrobe issues. Her feet were too big to fit in any of the shoes my daughter had from other Barbies. And my daughter had such a hard time getting the bikini top off that she broke the flimsy string causing the beads to fall all over the floor.
