Editorial Reviews
Editorial Review This is probably the first toy that (no pun intended) pops into your mind when you hear the name Fisher-Price. Maybe this will jar your memory: the Push Toy Corn Popper has a long, blue handle (well, "long" if you're 3 years old), and rolls along on two brightly colored red/orange wheels while making great popping sounds as it bounces brightly colored balls inside a clear plastic bubble that's mounted above the wheels. So much for the technical specifications. There must be some unwritten law that every toddler has to have one of these. And with good reason. They're still fun! --Chris Livesay
From the Manufacturer Since 1957, kids haven't been able to resist the popping action of this push toy. Balls strike the inside of the plastic dome when Corn Popper is pushed along.

noisy fun! By Patricia A. Burke We purchased this toy for our son when he was learning to walk (at 9 months of age) and now he's 15 months old and still loves it. It's his favorite toy of all. He pushes it, pulls it, bangs the floor with it, chases the cats with it, gives it to me to push while he watches the "popcorn" pop and even this morning he was sliding it on the dome instead of on it's wheels. YES, it is noisy and it's not fun to have in the background while trying to talk on the phone, but it keeps a busy toddler happy! I wouldn't recommend it as a "learning to walk" toy because it's not 100% stable but for someone who is stable already, I'd highly recommend it!

This is one of my son's FAVORITE TOYs! By Jennifer Outerbridge I bought this for my son when he was 11 months old. He was already walking VERY well and he absolutely *LOVES* this toy! (I would not recommend this to a toddler just learning to walk.)This toy has different colored balls inside and the balls *POP* as the toy gets rolled along the floor. I don't know what it is about this little toy, but he plays with this ALL THE TIME! After reading other reviews, my son never "swings" this toy! He thinks of it more like a vacuum because he sees mommy vacuuming all the time. And some of the reviewers wrote that their children run over their toes??? This is a very lightweight toy. If my son does run into something he simply backs up and goes another way. In that way it is a pretty educational toy that will teach cause and effect. OVERALL - Very Good Toy at Very Nice Price! VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

My son's absolute favorite! By kelly I just had to write a review after the negative comments I've read. Yes, it can be noisy (but if he's having fun, I'm happy). Yes, a child could run over your feet with it (my son did until we told him it hurt and wasn't nice). However, of all the toys my son has received, this is one he keeps going back to. It was a Christmas gift when he turned one and as soon as he perfected walking, the popper quickly became his favorite toy. He pretended it was a vaccum cleaner (complete with his own sound effects). And more recently it became a weed wacker (again with sound effects). He really uses his imagination with it. He's now 2 and he still takes it out to do a little poppin'. I believe as long as they are having fun and its safe - go with it! Also, it's inexpensive enough that if your child isn't thrilled with it, at least its not a big investment.
