Parcheesi® Game by Milton Bradley From Hasbro
Editorial Reviews
Editorial Review Parcheesi, which originated in the U.S. in 1860, is based on pachisi, the ancient and still popular game of India. In this long-time favorite game, players try to get all four of their pawns around the board, from starting position to home, before their opponents do. Competition gets tough when other players get in the way by capturing pawns, erecting blockades, or finding crafty dodges around the traps you lay for them. This version features an appealing maze-like board with just a few pieces and a pair of dice. Parcheesi is excellent family fun. The small pieces, however, are a choking hazard for young children. --Tom Keogh

Great game to teach kids math and have fun at the same time. Perfect game for the whole family. As long as the players can count, they can participate in the game. I played this game when I was only five. If you ever visit India or Bangladesh, you will find out that every household has more than one Parcheesi. Grandparents, you must have this game at home. Why? Because my grandparents had a great time playing Parcheesi with me. As a result, I had to chance to know them well. Parents, please take my advice and buy Parcheesi for your kids. If they have problem with adding and subtracting, they will learn these for sure after getting the game. Even today, I am fond of this game because it helps me relax.
Hours of family fun, but not terribly durable. We play it nearly every night, but the board has really taken a beating. After only a few years, we're in the market for a higher quality board.
