WoW, this is great Sent this to my grandson, age nine. The report was, Mom , this kid loves this skate board. He watched the DVD, put on protective gear, and took off. He's the envy of every kid in the neighborhood. What a happy nan I was.
Blue Ripster Bad Wheels I bought my Ripstik online from Amazon.com about 2 months ago. I love it very much. I ride around during my brother's baseball games, at home, even riding to stores. It is in good shape when it comes to the body. However, there are two flaws that I can see with it. Number one is the wheels. I've only had it for around 2 months, and I already had to change out the wheels. When I first got it, the wheels were perfect, and it was an extremely smooth ride. Two months later, my wheels were no longer circular, and have turned squarish and very bumpy when I ride. Spare wheels are also expensive on Amazon.com, so I found myself going to an inline skate shop to buy rollerblade wheels that don't really fit that well. In addition to the wheels, after around ten minutes of riding, your back foot and heels start to get inflamed. I don't recommend this product if you have arch, heel, or other foot problems. Due to the large amount of wiggling with your back foot to stay balanced on your ripstik, your foot can easily get pulled and sore. Besides those problems, the ripstik is very fun and easy to learn. I bought the ripstik without any experience with skateboarding or ripstiking and I learned the very first day I bought it. It's perfect for quick trips to the candy store, or just around the neighborhood. The only problems are that the wheels wear down very quickly, and it tends to inflame the soles of your feet. Anyhow, I enjoy it very much!!!!!!!!!
The Awesome Ripstik! The Ripstik is about the coolest thing you could ride on! It is extremely fun. While it takes awhile to master bumps and riding, it is well worth the time spent (and money)! It is my favorite thing that I use outdoors.
