And riders needn't worry about the Ripple's durability, as the platforms are made of a virtually indestructible ABS plastic, while the steel torsion bar never wears down. Awesome
I purchased this for my 5 yr old daughter. It's the perfect size for the younger kids. She got the hang of it in no time and loves it!!! I am very pleased with this product.

It's not a "Ripstick" but it looks the same to me
My daughter put a Ripstick on her Christmas list this year. So I shopped around and found this product that looked like a ripstick to me. The price was much better; she's a smallish 10 year old so I thought this small board looked like it was just the thing for her. It's cute looking too. Well she was happy when she opened it, actually ecstatic. Then she went outside to play and her friend must have clarified for her that what she had was NOT a Ripstick brand product. Oh well then my daughter started clarifying for me, "Its not a Ripstick." I clarified a few things for her, so now she's over the logo issue and enjoying her board with the two wheels. She's finally able to ride it standing up rather than sitting down and paddling the floor with her hands. She's so excited.

If its a "Ripstick" your kid has to have then you might consider that this is not that product. However, this product is well made, looks nice and seems to fit the smaller kids pretty well. The wheels spin freely, (indicating it is well made) and its durable. You decide.

my kids love theirs! Easier to learn on!
The ripstick junior was easier for all my children to learn on. I got the junior ripstick for my 9 year old. But my 4 older teen agers all wanted to learn on his and then use theirs. Very sturdy and a great buy! Does take a little time to learn how to do it. My kids helped each other by holding on to each other as they learned. Don't let kids give up because once they learn how to balance on it and make it move, they have a lot of fun!!
